    would stand in court, though we never know, given the makeup of the Supreme Court.

      total disaster there too. Depends on who gives up next and who is President when they do -- in fact if the next exit is within six months or so of the end of Obama's term look for any appointment to be hung up until after the next election.

      I like to think that someone like Huckabee cannot win, but sometimes I wonder lately.

      We have only just begun and none too soon.

        Especially any opening in 2016 - since the winner of that election is likely to be a Republican.  Americans have been alternating between Republican and Democratic presidents since Eisenhower.
