  •  Huh? (4.00)
Can you all allow another baseless war in the middle east happen and still claim that you're against the policy?

Well obviously you are not in this country. If you were you might have a better idea why it is so g-ddam frustrating in this country to speak out against this regime. The current state of this country is one of 'suffocation' and has been so for nearly 4 years.

    •  Don't doubt it (none)
But if you want to stop this war, and you have the power to do so, you need keep fighting no matter how frustrating. The voice of one may be soft but the voice of many will surely be heard. It may call for drastic measures and new sacrafices by those who claim to be against this war.
Protest confined to a corner of a city is not going to cut it.
      •  In some ways you're right (none)
but when you say Protest confined to a corner of a city is not going to cut it. no doubt you must realize that taking it further than that involves invocation of the Patriot Act, enemy combatant status, a long stint at Gitmo, etc.

Courage is no small thing in times like this.

        •  No small task (4.00)
I'm not trying to diminish the sacrafice because I know it would be a major sacrafice. If you are to be a people for peace, who are to come against this push towards another war then the questions that you pose to yourselves much change. Remember that millions of lives will be destroyed if an all out war with Iran is started. With this in mind people for peace can not continue asking, "If we do this, if we really fight to stop this war, what will happen to me" the question must be radically changed. Ask yourselves "If we DO NOT do this, what will happen to the millions"
    •  I believe he is talking about the democrats (none)
      in Congress.

Stop the war! Draft Bush voters!
