to the Republicans, since they're the ones not introducing any bills to create jobs (don't hold your breath).
And I certainly hope you would want your grandkids to live on a healthy earth so that it's there for their grandkids.
Fighting greenhouse gases includes new technologies that create jobs. Our local community college got a grant from the stimulus to start courses teaching people how to work on and service wind turbines, and now the companies that build and service the wind farms around here are contributing too, because it provides them with a ready workforce.

I expect better from Democrats. Democrats are for working families. That's how I was raised by my social conservative father. That is our roots, and that's where we need to go back. I'd like to see the David Bonior wing of the democratic party back.

As Dennis Green would say, The Republicans, are who we thought they were. They aren't going to do anything. Bob Corker wanted the whole domestic automobile industry gone because he's a union buster. Chimp Clone Mike Rogers voted for the trade agreements. They suck and I didn't vote for them. They, and Bill Clinton's DLC, sent our jobs away.

Do we need green jobs? Yes. At the same time, we need to stop punitive measures to our industries putting our skilled labor at risk. I sound like a Republican talking point here, but I support an all of the above energy policy. We need the green jobs. We also need to use our domestic energy to avoid dependence on foreign oil and the wars aka armed robbery writ large that come with them.
