I don't mind following the links, or doing my own research, but I wish you had a bit more backstory, and information in general, about what is going on here.

Why did anonymous decide to strike HBGary?  What was HBGary trying to obfuscate?  Some quick googling has produced:

A security researcher claims to have infiltrated the higher echelons of the Anonymous organisation and identified key leader’s names and addresses.

Aaron Barr, head of security services firm HBGary Federal, told the Financial Times that he has identified two key members of Anonymous (including a co-founder) in the US as well as other senior members in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Australia.

Is that what this is all about?

@aaronbarr has been hacked and has engaged in quite a bit of chatter. Here's the letter that was placed on the hacked websites (no Goatsx?). Basically, someone underestimated Anonmyous and picked a fight. That rarely ends well because among the masses of unskilled bots are some people who really do know their stuff.

Now, I have no evidence that the events are related, but reading events posted by @attritionorg shows that there have been quite a few "security experts" hacked in the last few weeks (they're so similar that I thought it was the same event). i.e. @GregoryDEvans of LIGATT Security got hacked (Feb 2 tweet) with this message before his email files were dumped.

HBGary Federal hacked and exposed by anonymous who also note the attention by the 'Krebs on Security' blog HBGary Hacked by Anonymous so it would seem the serious security corporations are paying attention and bumping up the buzz.

Well, anyone who keeps up with Slashdot would know this: Anonymous isn't Anonymouse Anymore?

Also there seems to be an interesting pattern of linking back to a certain DailyKos article...hmmm. Hope the attention doesn't become too overwhelming.  Meh, mostly it should mean more hits for Kos's money-making ads.  And Red State, eat your heart out. Kos has got the best security lurkers this a good thing?
