  •  Have you gotten any (8+ / 0-)

GW admin message spam in your personal mailbox. I'm trying to run a bug to ground.

Poor Yas got the snot beat out of her by the evil dKos diary editor but she finally prevailed with another of her outstanding diaries.

Seeing you here is always a welcome, cheery sight. I think we need to put you in charge of group morale.

this instance but I did get a HUGE amount of email, like every email possible from GWers but I was not allowed to read most of it. Is that what you mean?

I also got email from yasu that I was allowed to read.

It is so darling of you to say the thing about morale. Mine could not be lower but I will try to help out on that front in here when I can. And srsly you ones are doing a wonderful job!! (not just saying that)

light of cheer wherever you post. I'm sorry to hear that things aren't going so well for you.

Thanks for the feedback on the group mail. I was hoping that just the replies to invites were the problem but it looks like that isn't the case.

Groups have three levels of membership. Members can queue diaries to the group but don't have access to the group queue to schedule or publish the diaries to the group. However, a huge advantage to that level of membership is that you don't get the slew of admin group messages cluttering up your personal mailbox which is a huge PITA.

Getting unwanted and unneeded group messages was something the beta testers found quite obnoxious. I hope they get it fixed soon. I would have preferred that all members could read whatever they wanted by going to the group but would have the option of opting out of receiving group mail in their personal mailbox other than messages addressed to everyone in the group or replies to messages they sent to the group.
