    after I published, as clearly no immigration process is simple. I edited it to "straight forward."

    But, I didn't say all heterosexual couples. As a generalized statement I think it stands. Certainly the first route a heterosexual couple would take it to marry. This is actually something LGBT immigration attorneys advise their gay clients NOT do. It does nothing to help and can demonstrate a plan to overstay a visa.

    Certainly there are many other areas of unfairness in immigration and other issues.
