That's been the 80 year strategy of the Anti-Union/Labor movement.

Sadly, we lack organization that comes even close to what they have accomplished; therefore, unless/until we do we will keep losing ground.

We need on the street actions, uberly organized.

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

...by philosophical fine points and meta-issues.   Conservatives take their marching orders, not knowing or caring that they come from corporations and are transmitted by PR firms paid to move the masses.

We need well-planned and well-located on the street actions.

And a logistical  infrastructure.  And a focus on process issues instead of the pluriformity of policy issues.  The Egyptian movement worked on process issues first, and then intend to let that process work through the policy issues.  And they aimed at changing the key institutions of the Egyptian state--the dictatorial presidency, the biased state media, the corrupt and abusive police force.  Using the fulcrum of a neutral armed forces.

It seems like no one or no organization is willing to take the lead to organize our cat herd.

Many concede the needs you outline, yet pleas to do so are left unanswered.

There is much to be concerned about when this 80 year Plan, based on little to no appreciation for most Americans and their needs, takes control.

I am becoming a bit disheartened.

        •  Most progressives are not hurting enough (0+ / 0-)

...yet personally for it to be other than a vicarious matter of change. And those who are hurting have other things to attend to at the moment.

And just because a couple of groups have an 80-year plan doesn't mean they can pull it off.  Most movements splinter the closer they get to victory as they scramble for the spoils.  BTW, did you know Grover Norquist was a  Muslim sympathizer?
