race in MA doesn't mean a Democrat can't win.

It'll be a whole different environment with Obama running in 2012, and enough time for a real Democratic primary.  Plus the state Democrats should have learned now that the West Mass - East Mass division helps elect Republicans.

We need Elizabeth Warren where she is.   Here agency will get REALLY defunded if everyone thinks she's going to start running for the Senate in 2012.

As a former Mass resident who no lives just over the border from Mass, Kossaks can help more by donating to and supporting the Democratic candidates that put themselves forward for the Senate race.

two non-Massachusetts residents think they can presume to tell Massachusetts voters who should run against Brown.

I'm from Massachusetts. I'm VP of my local Dem. Ctte. And I can state that no one out here has even heard of Elizabeth Warren.

However, voters do know Bob Massie and Mike Capuano, both of whom have run electoral campaigns and have each done quite well--and who both have proven progressive records.

Have any of the proponents of this silly and misguided effort bothered to, you know, ASK Ms. Warren what she thinks about running?

I'm not only not going to endorse this totally wrongheaded petition, but will actively work against it.

My friends at  Blue Mass Group claim to have originated the idea and are supporting it.

I remain undecided, but decidedly skeptical. If it was a primary against a DINO, yes. But if we want to take back this seat we need someone with better name recognition, campaign experience, and street cred. On the other hand, Deval Patrick was at the same place at this time in the '06 cycle.

I also think she can do more good in DC if we can get her agency protected, funded, and her in charge.

Shit happens. So when you flush thank a liberal.

Then that's where Chris and Kos should be putting their efforts, instead of trying to play out-of-state kingmakers.
