I'll go back and read that more thoroughly.  Can't rec it anymore.

I think there will be a core (federal) taxpayer base to keep the MIC in business.  Everyone else will be taxed and "fee'd" to death through the states and municipalities.  It's already happening, in spades.  Continue to take away services and anything that benefits the citizens while making them pay through the nose to basically breathe the air or drink the water.  It's the wave of the future and we are seeing it. Oh, and survival of the fittest is alive and well.

A couple of years ago, I would have not thought your comment was serious.  But this is exactly what we are seeing.  After the great mortgage scam, everything else is falling really fast.   With globalization, the oligarchs do not "need" just the United States.  This is serial raping and pillaging of countries world wide.

The United States is not just losing its capacity to do great things. It's losing its soul.--Bob Herbert
