    when the coyote (or other creature) is scavenged.  Even dangerous, bloodthirsty creatures like chickadees will eat from a carcass in winter.

    It's like the situation in rangeland, where the ranchers poison ground squirrels because their cattle sometimes collapse tunnels and break their legs as a result.  In many cases, they end up with more ground squirrels, because coyotes (and hawks and owls) eat the poisoned squirrels, then they die - and there are no predators left to keep the squirrels in check.

    They only call it Class War when we fight back.
