  •  I think you are not aware of the fees JP Morgan (0+ / 0-)

    earns.  They earn a profit over every single transaction they participate in.  And calling to check your balance does result in a fee in some states.  

    •  JPM provides a service (0+ / 0-)

      to their customer. This happens every time a debit card is swiped anywhere for anything. The US government used to pay printers to print and bind food stamp packets. What's the difference?

      Again, are the fees JPM is making outrageous, irregular, or somehow out of line for processing debit cards? And if there's anyone in ANY state that can't get their balance off their last receipt, or has to pay for calling to get a balance, I'd like to know. With links or personal experience, please.

      It's not just a zip code, it's an attitude.
