  •  Walker will do many more stupid things (16+ / 0-)

    in the next 11 months.

There were 2,133,162 votes cast in the election of 2010 when Walker was elected and he won by 124,612 votes.

For a recall of Walker next year the 25% of those 2,133,162 votes would be 533,291 signatures required for a recall election.  That's a little more than half the votes cast for Walker's Democratic opponent Tom Barrett.  There are lots of union members as well as public employee union members who voted for Walker and now regret it, as well as thousands of independents.

Also, over 806,000 more people voted in the election in 2008 than did in 2010.  So the numbers are there for a recall of Walker next year and it will only get worse for him in the coming months.  So let's keep the pressure on him and organize to get the required signatures when the time is right to do so.

    •  It's doable - if there is sufficient organization. (0+ / 0-)

OTOH, any effective organization for this will be perfect to position GOTV for 2012 as well; money and time well spent.
