but you might want to actually look at the video that Fox News  and others have.  ( Here's a story  from a Wisconsin news station confirming it. )

If you can bring yourself to look at Fox News (it's difficult, I know), what they have is a video of a person (they say it's a producer) miked up actually getting a note.  It's a pre-printed form.  The protester fills in name and birth date, and the dates they were "sick," and the person who says he/she is a doctor signs it and puts a medical license number.

Fox News is now reporting that they have checked the name and medical id of one of the doctors who signed such a  note and they gave, on the air, the name of the clinic where the doctor worked.

Like I said, now it's not just Fox News reporting it.  It's pretty clear it is actually happening.

should tear them up. No harm. No foul.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the larger issue.

      shown here
and noted that it seemed very fake to me - I work for a Dr's surgery in Aus but medical certs usually have some universal similarities.
      1. there is no stamp - most places if they do not use a pc generated certificate will use an inked stamp to guard against fraudulent use of certificate pads.
      2. There is no line for a general reason given for the cert - even with privacy concerns there is usually some sort of medical terminolgy used to describe the medical reason for the cewrt.
      3. The license number - I could not make it out clearly but the lice. # looked like a 37778 or a 37770. I went to the MD license lookup page for Wisconsin and these were the results for those 2 MD license numbers ( the number is too shjort to be valid in any case )
expired and the Dr is in Or.
Expired and the Dr is in Il.
      James Shropshires license is 33770-20

I would wage a bet that either some fool is punking folks or that some nefarious types are creating news.
