    "we have the right to bargain collectively" on one side, and "that doctor is passing out notes" on the other side, that is a fight I'll take any day of the week.

    I think all of us here massively overestimate the influence that Fox News and the wingnut radio have on  . . . well . . . anyone who isn't already a wingnut.

      Just watching the immigration law updates back when President Bush was running crap, I kind of take the ability of Fox and right-wing radio to drum up the negatives on an issue seriously.

        If Fox were anywhere near as all-powerful as some of us want to think they are, Obama would never have been elected.

        Fox just tells the nutters what they want to hear.  The non-nutters watch USA Network instead.

        BTW, didja know that the AFL-CIO back then opposed Bush's proposal for a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers in the US--declaring that the damn forners would take all our jobs?

        Was that Fox's fault too?
