    Interesting times (though violence is abhorrent) these are. I wonder how we are going to non-violently reduce the power of our oligarchy, as so many elected officials appear to be beholden to their big contributors. Seems we will ultimately be at the mercy of one associate on the Supreme court, although he let us down on Citizens United. Meanwhile, do we start with the states? Our union brothers and sisters are rising up, and when do the rest of us stand with them?

      I am  so sure that LTEs and stern phone calls to politicians will do the trick, aren't you?  Maybe "elect more Democrats"?

      Ask our bloodied  and killed ancestors who won our rights for us how they pulled that one off "non-violently".

      Some things are worth fighting for.
