    in Wisconsin.  

    It is not perfect - for example, many regions, such as mine, have an inadequate number of dentists who take BadgerCare.  However, it is a lifeline to many people.

      ... [Dennis] Smith is a fellow at The Heritage Foundation, the conservative think tank hostile to Medicaid. How hostile? In 2009, Smith himself authored a paper titled "Medicaid Meltdown: Dropping Medicaid Could Save States $1 Trillion," which concludes "failure to leave Medicaid might be viewed as irresponsible on the part of elected state officials."

      How come Republicans never talk about how the states would be in much better financial shape if Congress didn't ... you know ... constantly enable the corrupt Wall Street bankers who really caused all this hardship by destroying the greater economy in the first place?

      It seems that to Republicans it is a general rule of thumb that our financial woes are always really caused by the poorest and least powerful people in our country.
