  •  Alrighty then (0+ / 0-)

What precisely do you mean, "they first have to get back and do the job they were elected to do?"

There's more items coming up in the legislature besides the teacher's bill. This for instance:

GOP may bring voter ID to a vote in Dems' absence

    •  And having a minority of Democrats (0+ / 0-)

present to watch the Republican majority railroad bills through that don't require a quorum will be beneficial precisely how?

      •  They will (0+ / 0-)

be able to argue their position for all of Wisconsin to see. If it's a good arguement that the majority of Wisconsin agrees with, they probably won't win the vote, but they'll be rewarded in the long run. Just because you lose an election and become the minority, you still have to hang in there and fight with all the tools you still posses. You don't run away.....It looks from where I'm standing to be somewhat,.. dare I say, cowardly.

        •  They are fighting with a perfectly good (0+ / 0-)

tool in their possession - the ability to deny the railroading Republicans a quorum when they need it.

The fact that you would like them to unilaterally accept defeat instead of using this as a method to compel the Republicans to a discussion, suggests to me that you have no real interest in their success, but rather in them acquiescing 'gracefully' to the destruction of 50 years of liberal and progressive accomplishment.
