Use the google before all of your plants are sold.

Texas is Texas, you know. The second you think you got it figured out, it will switch on you. Just ask Rick Perry in 2012.

Those power plants are not the ones owned by WE.  I agree the power plants owned by the state are subject to this law.  I disagree with you that the ones owned by companies such as WE are also affected.  Sending a lint of state-owned facilities does nothing repeat nothing to address my point about privately-held power plants.

      Sheesh.

At this point your replies have crossed over the line to 'willful ignorance.'

      •  All 15 are heating plants (0+ / 0-)

for college campuses, mental institutions, or a state office building (Hill Farms).

          •  On a utility/power plant scale, probably not (0+ / 0-)

I do wonder why WE or MG&E or WPSC or whatever utility bought this provision is trying to accomplish though.

It seems to me somebody sees some way to make some cash off of this, unless the GOP is just going crazy with privatization schemes, and the utilities have no real interest.

Maybe there is some state facility somewhere that has some real value - I don't know of one, but this provision in the bill makes me really suspicious. But not conspiriatorally so.

      •  The damned bill deletes oversight (6+ / 0-)

of these utilities sold at fire sale prices AND the PIPELINES running throughout Wisconsin AND the RATES charged to consumers for the energy they use.

So while you are nitpicking over which friggin' utilities will be sold at fire sale prices... the damned bill has much more nefarious legislation within.

      •  I owe you an apology for curt statements. (6+ / 0-)

I was juggling like 4 balls when we exchanged earlier on reflection the inflection in my tone was uncalled for.
