      evidence that FDR opposed public employee unions.

      The historian says:

      Roosevelt absolutely did not favor collective bargaining for federal workers and especially did not favor the right to strike.

      Maybe that's so, but the letter to the "postal worker leader" is letter to the head of a 20-year old federal employee union and the author of the article supports the same claim by referencing the same worried scrap of fabric quoted by all the other echo chamber participants.

      If FDR opposed even Federal Government Employee Unions, I have yet to see any evidence of it.  

      If health care is not basic necessity, try living without it.
