      the Republican equation.  They want to develop a better class of workers who aren't smart enough to object to third world wages.  They see education (and social security) as huge wastes of profit potential for corporations.  And some folks can't see what they are doing to achieve that goal.  Like a huge Walmart, the Republicans are seeking a way to put more money into education corporations (which will oblige by teaching Republican approved material) until public education is starved on the vine and people have no choice.
