    the union has already conceded the vast bulk of his demands without any sort of negotiation (!).

    i agree with you about walker - he's the one holding all of the cards here - but people keep saying he's losing? i'm confused.

      I have no doubt in my mind, he'll follow through on his threat to begin the promised layoffs. He just got elected for pete's sake. In political terms, he's unkillable right now.

      And watch the spin: Democrats didn't play nice and now state workers are out of jobs.

        eventually, the bill will be passed - everyone will keep their jobs and pay a bit more for their benefits and lose the ability to collectively bargain.

        this isn't rocket science.
