    Who knows if Fox deliberately distorted the numbers or they simply could not imagine a scenario in which their side was getting trounced so badly in public opinion and thought they were "correcting" a mistake in the poll.

    Summary for the time-impaired: Former Fox reporters sue Fox because Fox wanted them to distort a story about Monsanto. They refused to air the "revised" story and subsequently were fired over it. They won their suit against Fox, but the "Appeal Court judges found that falsifying news isn't actually against the law." On the basis of that, the Court of Appeal reversed the previous decision and ruled in favor of Fox.
