    went to Uganda to tell them "how it's done", since they cannot do it here.  They hope to do "God's work" in fertile ground.

    Google Rachel Maddow and Uganda "Death to the Gays bill" and I'll bet you'll find PLENTY.

      I'm well aware of what's going on in Uganda and the role of some American fundamentalists in it.

      But the diary and article it's based on and comments in this thread are all making absurd suggestions.

      We're supposed to be angry at the administration because this Florida group gets federal funding under a program that long predates the administration, and because some fanatic in Uganda wrote on his Ugandan website that this woman heading the organization in Florida said something positive about him?

      And because this Florida woman, on being confronted with a sentence on a Ugandan website she apparently knew nothing about, refused to condemn a situation in Uganda she knew nothing about but said she would look into?

      This is silly.

      It's little better than Fox News and Sarah Palin type accusations of Obama "palling around with terrorists."

      There are real things to be outraged about and this isn't one of them.
