Who have stood up and roared it. There's an excellent chance right now that he's going to lose his Senate majority to recalls and the rest of his (quite possibly one year term) to defending himself on ethics charges and his policies against law suits that will cost the state for more than he was pretending to save. That looks an awful lot like doing something wrong to me, and to many of my fellow Wisconsin voters.

    •  I doubt it. (0+ / 0-)

      Maybe that's what should happen.

      I don't think it's gonna.

What I think is going to happen is that the only people who will still be pissed off about this next election cycle are people who were never going to vote for him anyway, and when you add up the 30% or so who actually agree with him ideologically and a bunch of the 50% who don't really give a shit about it (and anyway, when they think "government worker" they think "annoying mindless clerk at the DMV"), he's going to win in a walk if this is the main issue in that election.

We'll see what happens... but I'm not hopeful.
