  •  Uh Oh... The Red Menace (17+ / 0-)

as a former union member growing up in a union home, I support this move by our Wobbly brothers and sisters.

but just watch rush limpbrain and the rest totally go APE over this.

    tough shit.

don't want Unions to get stronger? then you should not have pushed our backs against the wall in Michigan and Wisconsin.

now it's time to push back.

and the rest of the rightwing wolf pack, if you can't make it to Madison.  Picket the broadcast locations of radio personalities like Charlie Sykes and Sean Hannity.  We won't keep much or gain anything back without returning fire against the barrage wages against us.  Peaceful but very persistent demonstrations will win, if we just get off our couches and show up.

Take the fight to lobbyists' doors.  Take it to Koch industries corporate gates.  Take it right up to the doors of ALEC and other union busting organizations. It's time to put in-your-face picketing pressure upon all those who've pushed so hard against unions and average people over these last 4 decades.  They've been picking the fight and mostly we've just rolled over.  We need to focus on these fronts and make them back down, force them to disband, and work to get laws passed in our favor, to restrain or keep these oppressors out of our nation and government halls and offices.  We are in a global war of the rich class against the rest of us.  Just refusing to obey and comply will force change.

Make it clear the only austerity and sacrifice we will accept is the long overdue amounts due from the wealthy.  Don't cut another dollar from federal or state revenues, instead, get those revenues long overdue from the wealthy, start taxing the 2/3rds of corporations that are skating by with ZERO taxes and their shareholders.  The American workers helped them earn their record profits, within the borders of our nation and society, under the protection of our rather expensive military and its millions of dedicated US citizen/warriors.  They owe our federal and state governments, and the working people, a full share of these profits! I also content it's high time for big claw backs from the richest shareholders and Wall Street bankers that have profiteered and gambled, without fear of regulation or oversight, with our pension and insurance funds, and scoop themselves billions in bonuses--and it's time to call flaming bullshit on their claim that their contracts for bonuses and huge perks have to be honored, but not those of union represented workers.

      •  Never mind picketing, (0+ / 0-)

Cancel you cable TV, explaining that you will start to give them money again once they drop Fox.

        •  Maybe if we can get 1 million subscribers (0+ / 0-)

to drop cable that would impact cable companies enough.
