so I can refer to this image in a bug report. When a comment has a large number of recommends, and you expand the list of recommenders, not all of them are shown. At some point, the list cuts off, often in the middle of a username as seen here, and there's no way to scroll inside it.

seems to be always a few that are a different color than the rest ;)

I've been trying to find a pattern, but no luck.

To every millionaire who decries they don't want their grandchildren paying for the deficit, I say: PAY MORE TAXES NOW and your grandkids won't have a deficit burden.

will be the topic of this evening's crankiness! In theory, everyone I have ever clicked on, wanting to know more about them, should be the darker color on this list, but I know for an absolute fact that there are more people on that list I've clicked on than are shown there with a color change.

I can't prove that, and I'm sure I won't be able to document it easily in the case of user names, but it's more obvious with things like my newly-opened (in the morning) stream -- diaries I had demonstrably opened the day before, that I have comments in (this diary, for example), are now showing in the "never-clicked" color. Same with Recent Replies. Their opened-ness just doesn't stick.

colors because I clicked their link.

If that truly is the reason, then that's broken, too ;)
