  •  Preaching to the choir (2+ / 0-)

I have nothing against preaching to the choir, or cheerleading for our side, or that complementary activity, hating on the bad guys.  They're wrong and we're right, and that's nothing, at all, to be ashamed of, or afraid of repeating over as often as it seems necessary.  Sometimes the choir could use some bucking up.

But if there's anything about dKos that, especially lately, irks me a bit, it's that, especially the front-pagers, seem to leave it at that too often.  But neither activity, praising the good or hating on the bad, has any point at all except as a call to some action that will further the good and drag the bad down to Hell.

I sure hope your righteous indignation inspires people to some useful action.  I find its sincerity and feeling much more useful to me personally than the standard front-page item that consists too much of some clever snarky talking point, and too little of where to go with that rhetorical point.

So, you get 'em angry, and I'll try to point them out the door in the right direction to do something useful with that anger.  I just wish those folks out in WI would start the recall petitions already, so that there would be some useful direction in which to take the righteous indignation right now.

We should have destroyed the presidency before Obama took office. Too late now.
