I hope my recs aren't hiding comments. I rec because I like what I'm reading and never hide. I just go to the next comment if I don't understand what a Diarist is saying.

    •  If I click the rec button, and then try to scroll (0+ / 0-)

down the page to read the following comments, (I use a laptop, and either have to use the arrow keys, or the touch pad mouse and enter key to get the scroll bar to move down)--I will automatically get the pop-up box that asks if I really want to "hide" the comment.

So, basically, the "rec" isn't locked in place when I click the button, and automatically shifts over to the "hide" button when I hit the down arrow after clicking the "rec" button.  I've found that in order to "lock" the "rec" in the "rec" button, after I click "rec", I then have to move the cursor into a blank space on the page, and then click in the blank area to "lock" the "rec" in place, before continuing on to scroll down the page.  Frankly, it's a pain.
