about the man that for two years said that only the private sector creates jobs aren't we?  The one that hired Summers, Gates, Clinton, and Arne Duncan?

... but he might be cornered into becoming a Democrat if Republicans push hard enough.  Of course, if he doesn't become a Democrat and solidly back the unions and the middle class, we'll know which side he's chosen.

Obama in no-man's land but they can't possibly corner him into becoming a Democrat.  In the long-run, that may not be a bad thing.  In the short-run, might put a Scott Walker clone in the WH.

      •  Someone should tell WH independents support unions (5+ / 0-)

Maybe the WH might then start supporting the backbone of the party's GOTV efforts.

        •  You think they care about them anymore (0+ / 0-)

          than Dems...

they care about the money Big Business will donate...everything else is secondary

as a group, we count for more than big business!  I know it!  If we stay awake and active, nothing -no money- can turn us around!

Feingold for governor in 2012!!!  I can see a lot of progressives being elected all over the US!!

            Union busting???? That's disgusting!!!

visibly frustrated by the idea that Democrats only show up when the proverbial straw on the camels back is about to break.  They are not even supporting this solidarity movement.  The only thing they are fighting is a loss of their donation pool.  Everything else seems to be a-ok with them.

Liberals and progressives are being played.  We just had massive majorities.  Did Democrats in Washington do anything for unions?  As far as I could tell they were fighting against them at every turn.

I am sick of the kabuki.

It is time to take matters into our own hands.

I agree that raising $1bn for 2012 is their Holy Grail.

        nor is the Democratic base...

neither will donate enough to get to the Billion dollar war chest he wants.

WI citizens and workers would be foolish to rely on the President or National Dems busy trying to out deficit hawk Republicans to give them any support beyond fake verbal and press release support.

Think PO as your prime example...
