  •  Governor Walker refuses to ask his rich buddies (5+ / 0-)

They have not sacrificed. They have benefited, but he refuses to raise taxes on the top 1% or 5% or 10% or 25%. He is a shameful example of why Republicans cannot be Christian.

    •  That's because when the rich have to be (9+ / 0-)

pay an additional 2% tax that is called socialism and redistribution of the wealth.  When the poor and middle class get a 6% cut in their income that is called "shared sacrifice" and we all have to "tighten our belts"  during these tough economic times.

      •  Michelle Obama wants us to tighten our belts too! (1+ / 0-)

Of course, she would prefer we tighten them out of necessity because all of that healthy eating and moderate exercise is causing our butts to evaporate, creating a potentially embarrassing interaction between gravity and our blue jeans.

And on that note, I will actually say something nice about a Republican. Gov. Christie defended the First Lady's health advocacy this weekend, saying something to the effect of "Eating healthy and getting exercise is a good thing, and if the First Lady can keep a whole generation of kids from growing up to be lard asses like me, then that's a good thing. More power to her."

    •  Walker cut off the taxation option (0+ / 0-)

with earlier legislation. He's screwed Wisconsin from as many angles as possible. He's made sure to limit financial recovery for his constituents unless they are the well heeled cronies he's trying to curry favor with. Why should he care about anybody else? He's got his peeps covered; "the people" be damned...he's above the madding crowd, ya know?

      •  The 2/3 law is a joke (0+ / 0-)

The legislature can repeal it any time it wants.

Walker is a petty, vindictive ignoramus who seems to have a chip on his shoulder. Almost any Republican legislator would be a better governor than he is.
