...unless we actually recall some Republicans.

Remember, "stopping the bill" is not a victory. That just puts us where we were 6 months ago...minus some wages and having suffered a huge shift in the Overton Window.

"Destroying unions" has now become a legitimate part of the political discussion.

If somebody steals your wallet, you don't settle for just getting it back. You must also kick their ass (i.e., beat 'im like he stole sumthin') to make sure that nobody else thinks about stealing from you.

Our goal is not just stopping the bill. We must also collect some Republican scalps from the Wisconsin wilderness.

but I am pretty damned sure we can collect some GOP scalps.
Kapanke is guaranteed done forever. Recall.
      Hopper is endangered. Recall.
      Harsdorf is endangered. Recall.
Wangaard can't be recalled yet, but he's done.
Several of the newbies who were swept in in 2010 will be one termers.

Walker will probably be recalled and at most be a one termer.

The trouble is that in the mean time, they will probably get 98-100% of what they want. All it takes is one Dem crossing the border.
