  •  all money is 'funny' IMO. (7+ / 0-)

money is a man made thing.  Its value is proportional to mans desire for it.

The game of monopoly teaches this quite well.

as the game progresses and people lose the ability to play there are fewer and fewer people in the game.

The game ends when one person has all the money and all the property.

and the kicker is that his/her money and property are NOW COMPLETELY WORTHLESS  becasue everyone else has gone off to play  a new game.

No one else has any 'money' with which to play the game.

Capitalism is a fire which must be tended and controlled.
If left unchecked it will devour its host and end the game for everyone (even the rich).

    nice diary.

Boggs: A Comedy of Values about artist J.S. Boggs who painted money and, as part of his art, used it to barter for goods and services -- and got in trouble with the US Treasury as a result!!

      It's a fun read.
