Get some protests going and sustain them and you get people to realize which side they are on. Everyone has family and friends that are public sector employees. They know they are not leeches. Americans do not like to take rights away for any reason the second amendment proves that.

I just saw Sen Grotham on TV calling middle class protesters slobs to their face. The GOP is the political arm of the corporate oligarchy. In 2012 we will see which side wins.

    The revolution will be interwebz

Let's remember something. The GOP is picking this fight in Great Lakes country. I'm sure the idea was to leverage the teahadists (all states have them) to challenge Obama in turf he was expecting to win. But after just a month of this they are looking at waking up every swing voter in the Great Lakes states who has union in the family background to the realization of how hostile the real GOP agenda is to people they care about. Now they are caught between their tough guy, "we hate the other side so much we're out to destroy them" brand and the fact that they have to bash first grade teachers in order to do it.

and all so the people who are so rich they didn't even notice the finanical collapse don't have to pay back the money they borrowed from us under Bush II.

people on this site have bashed Obama for not engaging more on this issue. From his perspective I think its a lot like the old addage. when you're opponent is arguing with himself, don't interupt.
