    I remember having a friend on the east coast call me at that time, I was living in Tahoe, to see if I could reach her mom and brother here in the SF area. I finally did, and let her know they were fine.

    This is not the same situation, I honestly do not think this will cause anything like that. Unless one is on a beach in a bay I feel confident this will not be as bad as what some fear.

      her baby was less than a month old, she was at work and Ross (her husband) braced himself in a doorway and held the baby.

      She took a taxi home from the financial district..she said the street was undulating as they went along..omigod.  She'll never leave SF tho', she loves the city.

      This is not the same situation, I honestly do not think this will cause anything like that. Unless one is on a beach in a bay I feel confident this will not be as bad as what some fear.

        I wanted to live here and that spring the prices dipped just a bit on rentals. I feel like your sister, I do not want to move anywhere!

        The local news seems to say that while they are taking precautions along the shore, it does not appear this will do much of anything here in the city.
