But I've heard about the new one. Where you have to go get the 2112 guitar. Sounds fun.

Red Rocks! I'd love to see a show there someday. Neil says it's one of his favorite venues because he can see the whole audience.

See, I know the guitarists get it... those swells. The way he adjusts the volume from the back pick-up to the front (he's so deft that you barely notice it). I'm trying to learn at least some of La Villa and can hit the notes for the first 3rd of the solo... but doing that and playing it are totally different. Still, it makes me smile to be able to play ANY of it. :)

I saw them in Red Rocks in 2006 or 2007.  What a show and what an environment!  But not much from their early years.  Most of the music was from the 80s and their new albums.  They did get in Working Man which is one of my top Rush songs.  A beer was like 10 or 12 dollars apiece.   You need to smuggle in whatever you might want to drink.

I almost skipped your blog because my first thought was it was about the other "Rush".

doesn't thunder anywhere but in his broadcast booth. ;)

They do Working Man as part of the encore on this tour. Right after La Villa. And Alex shreds the hell out of it!!
