    Right now, there aren't any open seats on our local school board, though I understand one of our school board members intends to retire when her term is up.

    I've toyed with the idea of running. Encouragement at the local party HQ during the 2010 election strengthened the idea. And if Tea Baggers are looking at weaseling their way into government through the back door, then that confirms it.

    I sort of saw our local libertarian jackasses trying the same thing, back when I lived in New Hampshire. I would've run then, if not for the fact that I didn't live in the wards where the open seats were located.
