  •  Do we know if any of the Dems are actually (0+ / 0-)

vulnerable? Or reports of how the opposition recalls are coming? I'd guess they'd be rowing against the tide, but I'd feel better knowing.

is Jim Holperin in SD-12.  It's a purple district -- broke for Bush in 2004 and Obama in 2008 -- and Holperin only won by 2.5 points in 2008.  He's a good campaigner, though, and already survived a recall several years ago when he was in the Assembly.

The Repubs think they have a chance with Dave Hansen up in Green Bay's SD-30, also a purple one, but Dave is not only a great campaigner he also won reelection by 32 points three years ago.  He should be ok.

We absolutely have to play defense in all the Dem districts, of course, phonebanking and canvassing to get the word out about how important it is to fight off the Republican assault on traditional Wisconsin values.

      •  Thanks, I hadn't heard anything except that they (0+ / 0-)

were going through the motions of recalling Dems, some with multiple petitions.

I would guess that Green Bay is bluer now than it was in Nov, and likely to stay that way for a while. ;-) It would be nice to see their recall petitions fail utterly, but as long as we hold, that what matters.

        Great diary, you Rock, thanks.
