  •  Obama has made his choices, now it is time for (16+ / 0-)

The Democratic Party, which is deeply fractured and who's platform has become a fucking joke, to make their decisions.

As a candidate, Obama seemed to promise more to organized labor, among the Democratic Party's most loyal constituencies.

"If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I'm in the White House, I'll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself," Obama said at a speech in 2007. "I'll walk on that picket line with you as president of the United States of America because workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner."

Rose Ann DeMoro, executive director of National Nurses United, the nation's largest nurses union, called Obama "largely a bystander" in the debate over collective bargaining. "I think we're feeling a sense of betrayal from him and not liking it much," she said.

Doug Schoen, a Democratic political strategist, said Obama's strategy seems to be "keep your distance, avoid direct engagement, say most of the right things most of the time, and hope for resolution through sources other than your own."

It's pretty horrifying to fully admit we elected the wrong guy, and to own that admission.  Cat Food Commission?  No negotiations, and caving before the fights ever begins?  Not showing up for the Unions?  'Miller Lite'...Republican Lite, take your pick.

But it's not his fault, the dollar doesn't stop at his desk, and we must not, above all hold him accountable, or dissent and point out the obvious.  He through the same middle class/poor under the bus after he got into the White House.

It's not like there was any right guy we were able to elect. We had the choice between wrong and wronger and wronger still.

        anymore.

We, as Americas have fully bought into this idea, that we can only have  two party system.

I reject that idea. We have come to have it thrust down our throats, there is no other way.  I reject that.  What we refuse to embrace and believe is the the so called
free market is a lie.  That all the laws that kept Americans safe, have been thrown aside, and ignored.

I was actually amazsed  to listen to Chis Matthews calling out  Trumka, and all the other union
heads for not standing up for Wisconsin, let alone for the other 18 states,  that are on the chopping block.   No Utue on that recent reality?  I'm not surprsied.  Where is Obama and the National Demcrats to be found , in this epic class battle, on those that have paid the greatest price, for Wall St./the Banks rip off.........

Guess what.....................no where to be found.  Obama is AWOL, and os is our party, but shit, let's no GO THERE.
