  •  The pattern I've noticed (0+ / 0-)

It's that people on this site such as this diarist are great at pointing out incredible malfeasance on the part of Republicans, but rarely ask why Democrats don't actively fight it.

It would seem to be easy to make political hay by pointing out everything this diarist points out and using it to accuse Republicans of being so obsessed with shrinking government that they don't care if doing so costs lives.

Are any Democrats doing that? If so, I'm missing it. If not, then why not?

We can blame Republicans for most of the nation's problems, and certainly the idiotic and irresponsible policies they promote have caused many of them. But they wouldn't have been able to implement those policies without the acquiescence of Democrats, which is why I think the rationale behind this site no longer works.

We've tried electing more and better Democrats and the results haven't been pretty. It's time to forget the more and concentrate on the better. If what's happening in Wisconsin has shown nothing else, it has shown that a few good Democrats can do more than a lot of lousy ones.

at the door of dems at a supposedly 'dem blog'.

One bitter fact is two bit hacks populate the third rate fourth estate who are truly the fifth columnists.

As well was seriously damage a country. Repubs couldn't possibly have done this on their own and I think you know that. I'm as partisan as anyone but it doesn't come at the cost of losing sight of reality, which isn't binary.
