    Apparently it is something different from "The candidates with the most votes win and then pass the laws that they want."

    Democracy includes protests, filibusters, and quorum busting.

    It doesn't include political coercion via strikes or attempts to physically prevent a legislature from meeting and voting.

    Absolute democracy seems to have the same relationship to democracy as Democratic Peoples' Republics have to democracy and republics.
