what youre doing.. right there.. is Exactly what the most vile members of the so-called "pro life movement " do.

Especially considering the hipocrasy of your second statement...

    •  Not bullshit. (5+ / 0-)

There's nothing moral about the anti-choice movement. Fuck your false equivalency. Nobody is trying to make you have an abortion. Yet the anti-choice movement would prevent anyone from doing so.

The more I read your comments the less I like you.

    •  Oh, please. (11+ / 0-)

Spare us the "both sides do it too" rhetoric. Nobody's forcing you to have kids you don't want. Nobody's blowing up the offices of the American Life League.

      Here's why:

      Murder is illegal killing.
Capital punishment is within the law.
Capital punishment is not murder, by definition.

      Women are human.
      Fetuses are potential humans.
Fetuses are not humans, by definition.

The syllogism is precisely the same in both cases.  Fetuses have no demonstrable attributes in common with humans that they do not ALSO have in common with insects.

I understand your disquiet, and I am an always have been truly pro-life: I'm pro-choice and anti-capital punishment, but in addition to that, I also feel it's important that our arguments are logically consistent.

We are not republicans, who can vomit verbal feces and call it 'argument' if they want to.

it was perfectly acceptable for plantation owners to execute their slaves and for alabama cops to imprison the  "uppity nigraz!".
