And it's been downhill all the way for workers' rights since then.

Before then, labor, especially the CIO, realized they had to depend on themselves.  They used militant tactics.  They won strikes--albeit not without cost--and they grew dramatically.  They had no use for the Democratic Party, even of FDR.  Most of them were Socialists, Communists and Anarchists.

Then came the Wagner Act and a strong reaction from the Right.  Union leaders drifted into the Democratic Party.  The militant tactics were all outlawed under the Wagner Act.  Then came Taft-Hartley that hamstrung even the cautious business unions.  Democrats promised to repeal it, but never did.

Then came Clinton's NAFTA, and the jobs flew away.

All the while, you folks were counseling, "Don't rock the boat.  Let's play to the swing voters.  Don't be militant or radical."

And we have arrived where we are today.

If your strategy had prevailed among the labor activists in the first half of the 20th century, we'd still have 12-hour work days and child labor.

You scamp.  But you can't disguise your cherry-pickin'-at-history-faux-trump-card-playin' ways.  Oh, they boys down at the club will be laughing over this one for days.

Stop. Stand up. Make a sign. Walk around in public. Be polite and orderly and the rest takes care of itself. Want to shake up the Plutocrats? Demonstrate your attention to politics.

Lying that there is no one talking about a general strike in Wisconsin.

Has the SCFL withdrawn their endorsement?  Don't think so.

You're trying everything from Red-baiting to accusing me of being disguised troll (that's pretty funny) to try and shut me up.

        Why so desperate?

        •  I am not desparate. (0+ / 0-)

You are just annoying and clogging up people trying to have a productive discussion.  It's called attention-whoring.

And since I know the cure for that I will just ST...
