    for the amount of moneythat was poured into the banks.

    I dont know the total number of sub prime loans made but I dont believe it was more than 3 million (see realtytrac and a mcclatchy story) and at $200,000 for each loan, the total is less than one trillion dollars. (600 billion)

    I actually supported the bailout at first becasu eI fell for the doomsday stories.  Over time I learned thatthe doomsday stories were just part of the 'socialization of loss' strategy. (aka theft)
