    This design has errors which should have been obvious at the time: lack of containment of spent fuel rods, active cooling, active control rods, etc.

    I can't trust an industry which has a consistent record of making blatant and obvious design errors.  Perhaps the new design flaws are more subtle.  It seems that any minor design flaw renders a nuclear reactor extremely dangerous in all manner of emergencies.

    Let's use technology which is more robust than that.
