  •  I published a pie chart quite... (6+ / 0-)

Don't tell me what you believe. Tell me what you do and I'll tell you what you believe.

    •  I saw that...I was thrilled (4+ / 0-)

In fact, that was the source of my chart.

It seemed to me that disseminating this information might be the very best way to make people rethink the republican's "what's good for the rich is good for everyone" meme.

I have been posting my message in the response section of blogs. Unfortunately, I've worn out my welcome at a few of the sites which seem to generate the largest amount of interest. I've written to newspapers, news shows, and state legislators, but haven't gotten any response. If you have any ideas on how to grow this "Print It Out, Pass It On" campaign, I'd love to hear them.

Also, I came across a study* which found that: 1. respondents dramatically underestimated the level of wealth inequality; 2. respondents constructed ideal wealth distributions that were far more equitable than even their erroneously low estimates; and 3. even those not usually associated with wealth redistribution, such as republicans and the wealthy, desired a more equal distribution of wealth.
