it's legal to sell powder caffeine over there, not sure about over here.

a kid snorted it by accident, and died. there is a lethal dosage of caffeine.

I have tried 2-c-e. you know, at the end of the day, human beings are going to try to alter their consciousness.

let's allow them to use the only 'safe' drug out there-cannabis, instead of having them drinkk nyquil, do random designer drugs, underage liquor drinking, hard drugs, or doing fake weed/fake cocaine.

In this same article I read they also talked about K2, which I think is even more of a travesty. The only reason something like K2 exists and people smoke it because marijuana is illegal. Otherwise, no one in their right mind would put that stuff in their body. If you accept that people are going to get high, having them smoke dried plant leaves rather than a synthetic chemical would be the course that would produce the least harm.

As in so many other ways, the behavior the War on Drugs incentivizes is often worse than what they say they are fighting. You don’t have to be much of an anthropologist to look across history and cultures all over the world to conclude that seeking mind-altering substances is an intrinsic human behavior. In a rational world the powers that be would recognize that they can’t defeat human nature and, as far as mitigating the consequences of drug use/abuse, pursue a strategy of harm reduction rather than prohibition and punishment.

If you feed enough caffeine to a lab rat, it will bite itself to death.
