and get a fuller sense of what happened here.  If all you see is "someone got fired and they unfortunately had a bad reaction to it" then I think you're failing to perceive the larger picture.  We don't know the thoughts that led Pham to his death, but it's a mistake to assume that it was all personal despondency or all protest of injustice.

I think that the entire gratuitous wholesale dismissal of people, in multiple senses of "dismiss," was handled about as poorly as possible, though, and knowingly so.

We came together last night to pray , contemplate and reflect.
We gathered at the spot outside City Hall where Huy Pham's ( pronounced "We") body fell.

The full account with pictures is here.....

There is more to this story......Please Share this MUST be told.

      •  Thanks -- I'll do a follow-up later today (0+ / 0-)

I'm off now to a political meeting and then a family gathering, so if it falls on me, it will take a while.  Are you able to construct a diary of it?

And thanks for your activism and information.  Are you involved with "A Bubbling Cauldron," by any chance?

He writes the Bubbling Cauldron. I'll try and find time later to fill you in on everything that has happened here.......

for now accept my gratitude for feeling our pain and sharing this.......

It's very hard......we are heavily impacted by this tragedy. The callousness and lies coming from the Mayor and council is reprehensible.

I'll try and fill you in more later....although I'm not too proficient here at the DKos....
