Based on DKos polling (and Randy Hopper's poling) Kapanke and Hopper look like toast. That's two -- gets us to the short end of 17-16, as neaguy says.

Lots of us had hoped to see Roberta Darling taken down, but that one could be tough. It certainly doesn't look like a gimme -- at least for now.

We'd all love to see a 5-6 Republican takeout, but the odds against it seem mighty steep.

At this point it's all just parlor chat, though. The first recall election is still months (i.e., political light years) away.

I'm neither optimistic nor pessimistic at this point, but I do like our chances.

      Forward!

in a recall, which is just nonsense.
Then he says "two is all we'll get," and two looks like a minimum at this point, particularly as public sentiment has turned sharply on Walker and Company.
It could be two, but then again, it could just as easily be four, and with a concerted effort and continued momentum, who knows, it could be higher.
And more seats are vulnerable next year, some of those look reletively doable as well.

Yes, I'm inclined to agree with what you're saying (particularly re the two minimum rather than maximum), but could Holperin run into Allah-knows-what between now and then? Damn -- I dunno.

There's a lot of water yet to go over the dam. Lots of developments and evolution between now and this summer.

Whatever the case my be, all we can do is give it our best shots, eh? Do what we can, when we can.

          Forward!
