  •  Great Project (none)
I have noticed here at Kos, the need for such groups, each within their own field of expertise.
Too many good ideas, and comments get lost in the files, or just fade away.
I have suggested to other people on Kos for just such a plan.
Kos main diaries need to be seperated into cattegories such as:
      Financial
      Environmental
      Social Security
      Rights, etc..etc.
People of expertise in these fields need to form groups to work on projects to formulate one solid plan, and then be brought to the front pages.
This way the story could be presented, with links to back up sites where the data could be stored for easy viewing by anyone when they have the time.
I believe this would make things so much easier, more accessable, and prevent so much good work from just vanishing.
It would allow Kos to publish thoughtful, planned, and creditable information for all to study, and possibly implement some solid grass roots aciton.
The mainstream media is begining to watch the blogosphere, and it's time to make sure what they see is, informative, precise, and most of all, credible information.
For it truly is, "The Voice of the People"
Good luck gentlemen, and I'm looking forward to your good work.

    •  Wish they could aggregate overlapping diaries (none)
I've suggested this, for the days when there are 8 Gannon diaries. It seems better now, there is less overlap.

Also when something makes the recommended list it seems to go wild and stay there for a long time.

I don't know if you're into this, but have you gone to the open source folks who made scoop, the software that runs this site?

      •  Thanks for the info (none)
No I hav'nt, but will definately check it out.
This has been my point, and roseewriter and I have started a chart that connects the administration, through past, current, political, and financial association.
Just to let people see how the group is tied, what they have been up to, and how they arive at their plans.
I think it's time for Kossaks to let the ego's go, and work to better the whole, meaning, make a simple, distinct, and credible message for the  public to understand.
Provide links to all the credible infomation, to back up the statements.
It's time to work as a team, and in any army, there must be front pagers, who can tell the story properly, with style, and make people want to read more. The rest of us need to be the soldiers, and keep the fight going with back up info.
Thanks for the info, and any suggestions you may have are greatly welcomed.

        •  Lots of roles (none)
Researchers, organizers, writers, database managers, and definitely not least, people ready to take action on what the planning groups develop.
          •  Agreed (none)
and the sooner things get organized, the better the battle will be fought, and won.
Only a well planned battle can be won, and many battles wins the war.
If I can be of any help, let me know.
              thanks.

Right now we need to start putting together a critical mass of people to get the ball rolling.  The first stage is to collect info, bring ourselves up to speed, and begin the process of framing the issue for action.  We'll need as many people as possible to overcome the inertia and get the process underway.  Thanks for your support!

              •  In the process (none)
I've been there to join the group, but they're having some server clog right now, as soon as it gets clear, I'll be there.
count me in, and glad to be of help.
