    A very sad state of affairs.

    This is the guy that prank called the Wisconsin Governor and pretended to be one of the Koch brothers.

    He's the best they can do for a candidate and this sort of stupidity is the best they can do to effect electoral politics in America.

    They obviously are not an option for progressives that want real change. It really disgusts me.

      canvassing and working for as a poll watcher back in the day (this was during the buildup to the Iraq War when the Dems were too afraid not to be on board even though most of them probably new better privately).  My experience soured me when it became clear that their only concern was trying to get on and maintain automatic ballot status, but had literally zero interest in actually winning any sort of office (and this was during a time when there was a real chance at conceivably winning a few local/state races had any real effort been put into the effort).  I was a bit gob-smacked that the weren't even trying for anything meaningful (despite admitted long odds).
